Contemporary and sadness

This book that I read today is a dramatic description of being different in a poor, very poor area of France at the beginning of the 2000′. Even if I grew up in much better conditions, I can recognize the “traditions” of kids, teenagers and adults when one people is different. This book talks about homosexuality, but I’m sure every too smart or too easy girl, every too darkskined people would have felt the same. Main problem: how do I fit in? Second problem: how do I escape?

The book was very well written and gets a lots of likes from me, even if the subject is sad. Never forget how difficult it was, or still is, in some places of the world, just to have the right to be different.
