Oh what for a sunny and nice day!!
After a long night, i woke up pretty exited to take the first long ride of the year. The goal: snake safari. I met up 2 friends, we drove west to meet other people and the first stop was at the gasstation to check the pression in the wheel.
The second stop was much more interesting. We visited the Grytthyttan’s whiskey distilleri, which is one of the rare of this kind in Sweden.
For me, who is not a whiskey drinker, did those things taste exactly like whiskey. The 50ppm were tasting more smokey but it was actually quite good, nice thing to have in the morning musli me thinks.
The guy explaning us everything of sweidh whiskey made fun of the scottish people and told us that this instrument was scottish high tech.
and here is the magical box, with the alcohol running from the condensation, on the left, the “weak one” and on the right, the “pure one”, depending if it was head, heart or queue.
And then, the “pure” one was going to be put in nice oak barils. You can buy one 50L for like 19 000 kr the guy said. They are tasting it twice a year for you (if you don’tfind the time to make it yourself) and after 5 years, you may have bottles of it.
It was an interesting visit, the guy was really passionated, so if you have your way around, take a look. I think they are open every day. Our Ms-gang had these rides:
This was a lot of BMW compagny for my love but one thing was sure: the average for the age of the group did sink dramatically with me. But everyone was nice, even Honda drivers.
Then, we drove to the dangerous snakes valley. Well, invert valley since it was a little mountain. This is a place where the snakes wake up after the winter and go all crazy and f*** all the time. At least try to because it seems that there are a waaaay more males than females. Kind of funny to see them from so close.
We took a little lunch there, with a nice view and a really nice sun. It was the first moment in ages for me when i just laid down in the grass, doing nothing but eating, drinking and chatting with nice people.
We also saw the most interesting insects of the planet: ant.
We drove home after that and the 200km from today felt really good. Even if i drove the last time october 31st, it feels like i know my love and i enjoy every minute of ride.
At home, i felt asleep in the sun on my balcony. No need to tell you that i got the first sunburn of the year. But whatsoever, everyone should die because of something anf now i know that melanome is on the list for the nominated reasons.
