I have nothing much to write today, only that this is horrible/exceptional how the contact to some people can take you down/up. I got approximatively both today in the same proportions, so i may be neutral. But really, some have the power to depress everyone…

But since i don’t have anything important to tell tonight, i will let the place to the music and the contribution of my dad, who is apparently too shy to write some comment so he writes mail with nice links. From yesterday, he got inspired for some music and let Ella sing:

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’ and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy’s rich and your ma is good-lookin’
So hush little baby, Don’t you cry

One of these mornings you’re gonna rise up singing
And you’ll spread your wings and you’ll take to the sky
But ’til that morning, there ain’t nothin’ can harm you
With Daddy and Mammy standin’ by

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’ and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy’s rich and your ma is good-lookin’
So hush little baby, Don’t you cry

One of these mornings you’re gonna rise up singing

I like the version of Mike Brant too:

And Pappa did send another link, more known i think, and even if the song may be nice, it is an horror to begin to sing it, then, you only have it in the head for the rest of your life it seems!!

Enjoy!

 In the summertime

When the weather is high
You can stretch right up
An’ touch the sky
When the weather’s fine
You got women, you got women on your mind
Have a drink, have a drive
Go out an’ see what you can find

If her daddie’s rich
Take her out for a meal
If her daddie’s poor
Just do as you feel
Speed along the lane
Do a ton, or a ton an’ twenty five
When the sun goes down
You can make it, make it good in a lay-by

We’re not grey poeple
We’re not dirty, we’re not mean
We love everybody but we
Do as we please
When the weather’s fine
We go fishing, or go swimming in the sea
We’re always happy
Life’s for living, yeah, that’s our philosophy

When the winter’s here
Yeah, it’s party time
Bring a bottle, wear your bright clothes
It’ll soon be summertime
And we’ll sing again
We’ll go driving, or mayby we’ll settle down
If she’s rich, if she’s nice
Bring your friends, an’ we’ll all go into town
