This week end was at the same time a backtrip to the past and to the future.
Past: 2003 and me discovering the life abroad in Darmstadt. Nice to come back in this student environment, with the sun as welcome gift.
Same phone
Same appartments, just with some new colors
Same biers
But some really new energy with new sunglasses and and and SUN!!! it was wonderfully warm so we even took a mini napp in a park! yes! march the 17th and a napp in a park!!
i just tell you: W O N D E R F U L!!!
oh. and i forgot: i also got a very beautiful present, so i was really on my little cloud.
On the saturday afternoon, we took the train to Frankfurt and met some french friends for a bikeride through the city. But not a common bike, no, a bierbike. Das ist aber typisch deutsch: Bier trinken und Spass haben!
We did not drink beer but Apfelwein, which is kind of a bubble appel wine. Enough to get happy and honestly, it was sport. I got pain in a lots of muscles the day after! But a funny way to see the city, since we were driving like everywhere where bicycles have the right to drive.
During the evening, it was a cosy evening in a restaurant, typical german and some beers (real ones!) and champagne for the housewarming part.
Sunday was a rainy sunday. Not that much to do more than to eat, go downtown and then to the airport. The trip back home was long and i was happy to go through my door in Linköping for a short night. Up at 5h45 this morning, it was just a step smoother than tomorrow: clock at 4h45, i am slowly getting used to the hour change from this week end. well, not soft, i tell you.
