Everyone has a story to tell. The swedish railway is here to remind you on talking with people around you. For me tonight, it began with a textmessage telling that i would have to take the bus for a part of the travel instead of the train. This was not with a joyfull mine that i took the news, which meant like some hours of delay. Nice when the only thing you are waiting for is to be in the arms of M.
But ok, the Law of the train is apparently stronger than the Law of the attraction! So i got up in a crowed bus and found à place closed to a man, maybe 60 years old. Pretty soon, he told me he heard that i was not swedish ( common reaction when i meet people for the first time) and asked me where i’m from. I told him france and the first region he thought of was Alsace-Lorraine, where i am actually from! I was impressed!
So the bus trip was spent pretty quickly and this is really enjoyable to talk to wise and smart people. We had similar experiences and this was lovely to exchange big thoughts about life with an anonymous professor of East Asian history! Hope your trip to Lund went well!
