it was a crazy party with finnish people only and I just spoke swedish (this is the second official langage there and all can speak, it was easier for me than english and I mean, full, i speak fluent ). It was also cool to have 2006 an hour befor all the west european people, it made fun to send sms earlier and to think that people who recieved could think “hein, what´s that?”
oh à propos, I´m sorry because I coulnd´t send message to all, I had not a lot of money on my swedish phone but I thought stark to al lot of friends!
An other crazy thing that I have never done was the fireworks: it´s here allowed to do it by yourself and althought it might be very dangerous, it´s beautiful at midnight because there are fireworks everywhere.
and thanks to the tax free shop, we could drink “la veuve cliquot” at midnight outside, the feet in the snow and the nose cold.
